Who: Cub Scouts who are Rising 1st grade-Rising 5th grade
(rising means the grade youth will move up to for the next school year)

Virtual Day Camp at HOME
All registered participants will receive a camp bag with materials for the virtual camp days including an activity schedule. Activities will be led on zoom throughout the day Monday and Tuesday 9 am to 3 pm. Activities include opening ceremony, art, stem, project service, cooking, escape room, scavenger hunt, guest speakers, and breakout sessions.
When: Shooting Sports Day – 8 am to 5 pm with an adult partner as coach
families choose to participate either Friday, July 31 or Saturday, August 1
Virtual Day Camp will be Monday and Tuesday, August 3rd and 4th
How much: $35 per scout until July 2, 2020, July 3-18 cost is $40
Why: To Have FUN! Scouts participate in all three cub shooting sports – Archery, BB, and Sling Shot. Opportunity to earn shooting sports badges for their rank in each discipline.
Each scout must bring a water bottle, snack, and lunch. Option to purchase lunch on site.

COVID 19 Precautions: Camp will be following CDC, NC, and BSA guidelines to mitigate exposure to COVID 19. We can not guarantee participants will not be exposed to the virus.
- Health questionnaire must be completed before attending camp.
- Temperature will be taken at check-in using a thermal scan no-touch thermometer.
- Hand washing will be required at check-in, before and after meals, and using the restroom.
- Hand sanitizer will be available at each station.
- Groups will be limited in size by current guidelines in place when camp is held.
- Participants will wear face coverings in accordance with current guidelines.
- Each range will have no more than 8 youth participants with their adult partner as their guide. Participants will be spaced 6′ feet apart on the range.
Cubs must have an adult partner (age 18 or older) for the shooting sports day. The adult may be a parent, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, or a trusted adult. This adult partner coaches the youth at the range, reinforces the range rules, and assist the youth in complying with range commands. If an adult must monitor two cubs, the cubs will be assigned to the same group with firing positions side by side but will take turns shooting. Adult supervision is key to safety at the range.
Due to group size restrictions, we are not using youth volunteers for the shooting sports days.
