Trainer’s EDGE

The purpose of the Trainer’s EDGE course is to provide and help develop the platform skills of a trainer and is meant to supplement the practice that is offered through Wood Badge and NYLT staff development. This training will also allow you to become a Couse Director for future training events.
You will have the opportunity to give several presentations during the day.

Pre-course Preparation: Please prepare a 10‐ to 12‐minute presentation on a topic from any
BSA material. Your presentation should allow you to demonstrate the skills of a trainer. You will receive constructive feedback on your presentation from the other participants.

Additional Information: Coffee, tea, water, pastries, and Lunch will be included, Cost $0.00.

If any diet restrictions are required, let me know in advance… Having to diet “only “on Filet
Mignon does not constitute a diet restriction…
Class size will be restricted to only 12 participants. Contact must be via email and followed up by phone or in person conversation. It will be the participant’s responsibility to follow-up on the course status to be conducted. By taking and completing this course, it will be expected of you to support at least one training event as an Instructor within a year. This course is not for the fainthearted…
