Cub Scout Day Camp

What:         Highlander Day Camp- Fayetteville, North Carolina

Who:          Registered Scouts in Rising 1st grade-Rising 5th grade and sibling girls who are cub scout age may join the sister den (limit 10)

When:        June 19-23, 2017


Monday-Thursday; 8:00 am-4:00 pm (aftercare available until 5:30 pm for $6 daily)

Friday 8:00 am -1 pm (no aftercare available)

How much:  $90 per scout

Why:  To Have FUN! Scouts participate in the following activity centers:

Archery, BB, Sling Shot, Arts and Crafts, Cooking, Games, STEM, Webelos specific activities, and more!

Each scout must bring a water bottle, snack and lunch.

Camp Volunteer Needs: Camp is generally in need of week-long volunteers as den leaders, station coordinators, and pixie camp workers. (Gift cards will be given to 5 day volunteers)Volunteers can also give mornings, afternoons or a day. Youth Volunteer Registration – Boy Scouts and Venturers: online

Pixie Camp Registration: online (childcare for volunteers’ children 11 years old and younger)

Sister Camp Registration: online     This sister camp is for cub scout age (8 to 11 year old or rising 2nd graders – fifth graders) girls whose family members are enrolled in camp.

A parent must attend a parent orientation meeting. (See time line for options).  Parents will turn in cub scouts BSA Health and Medical Record Parts A&B, day camp release forms and a copy of the parent’s Youth Protection Certificate.

Tiger Cubs must have an adult partner (age 18 or older). The adult may be a parent, brother, sister, aunt, uncle or even a neighbor.

 If you have daughters or younger children, we provide a Pixie Camp (onsite daycare) for your days of volunteering. This is a structured program with their own schedule, crafts, and games.
